We put Emstrur behind us and continue along the canyons on our way to
Thorsmork. The trail takes us within a few kilometers from the great
Mýrdalsjökull glacier. As we descend towards Almenningar a few trees can
be seen, a sign we are getting closer to the coast. We walk under the
characteristic mountain Einhyrningur and into the dense birch forest in
Þórsmörk.
For some fellows, including our young pretty guide, Lilya, day 4 is a bit boring, because there is no challenging part, but long and flat path. But for me, I enjoyed much this easy walk.
There was one part, a spacious area, where I could just walked alone, and no fellows at sight.
I put my earphone all and play my favourite dance music, and I danced and walked with attitude... so kimochi (feeling good)!
